Sony Co-creates Kando Moments at World Aquatics Championships Singapore 2025
Sony Corporation as a Global Partner of World
Aquatics, will be right at the heart of the action at the 22nd
edition of the World Aquatics Championships, happening from 11 July to 3 August
2025 to deliver awe-inspiring moments of aquatics athletes’ achievements with
the world.
At the Nation’s premier aquatic event where six disciplines are contested, members of the public will experience first-hand, how Sony delivers the excitement of aquatic sports through the power of creativity and technology.
Communicate the Co-Creation Story
Showcasing cutting-edge technologies that
capture the intensity and artistry of aquatic sports, a dedicated booth at the
Fan Zone beside the World Aquatics Championships Arena will articulate Sony’s
philosophy in fostering the creative community and empowering creators to
realise their vision. Other than a TV wall that screens the latest Kando moments
from the championships that is shot on Sony’s Alpha™ mirrorless cameras with G
Lens and G Master Lens, the booth will also highlight underwater photography
with Alpha, among others.
What’s more, visitors are welcome to participate in the global campaign[1] to stand a chance and win a ZV-1F Vlog camera or the WF-1000XM5 wireless noise cancelling headphones.
Promote the Joy of Photography
For enthusiasts wanting to bring real emotions of athletes to life effortlessly, from 1 July till 31 August, Sony Electronics (Singapore) (SES) is running an island-wide promotion for digital imaging products. With each successful product registration on My Sony Rewards for purchase of any Alpha Full-frame cameras or G Master Lenses, customers will receive a limited edition Sony x World Aquatics 2025 camera strap, while stocks last.

Further, a dedicated Pop-up at Sony Store, 313@somerset will showcase the joy of sports photography and how Sony empowers creators to capture the moment - from the actions in the pool to fans around the world. Featuring the A1 with SEL70200GM2 and A9 III with SEL300F28GM, visitors to the booth from 1 July to 4 August 2025, can experience the pinnacle of speed and precision when chasing a fleeting moment in their purest form.
Dive into Action with Instagram Contest
On top of the witnessing Kando moments from past
championships and product trials at the Sony Store Pop-up, a social media
contest in Singapore will run from 1 to 20 July 2025 where participants
can join to redeem exclusive Sony premiums as well as stand a chance to win
tickets to watch the Championships.
Participants can simply sign up as a My Sony Rewards member and follow @sonysingapore on Instagram before selecting one of the two themes - #FansPOV or #CaptureWithAlpha - to post a photo or video taken at the Pop-up area onto their public account. The post needs to be accompanied with the selected theme hashtag as well as #SonySingapore and #WorldAquatics.
